Following his release,  Bascom X spilled his guts to Yardflex about his case.  He must feel real confident talking about his pending case.  What happened to statements like “cannot make a comment on the case pending litigation” or something like that.  Bascom mek good music, I just hope im nuh mashup im career.

On December 23, Portmore police went to a house in Hellshire supposedly owned by the dancehall reggae artist Bascom X and reportedly found an unliscenced semi-automatic pistol with live ammo. Police arrested him and a friend named Royden Peart, charging them with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition. The reggae artist and co-accused were denied bail and will have to remain locked up to face the charges on January 4th. The search was apparently initiated based on a woman accusing Bascom X of sexual assault.

Now the way I see this. He should do time. Record some hit songs from prison. This will spurr a “Free Bascom X” campaign and he will be released as a bigger star than when he went in. Sound familiar?
